Day 1 of 21-Day Uganda Culture | Nature Budget Tour

Arrival at Entebbe Airport

Day 2

Kampala to Lake Bunyonyi

Today you will make a beeline for Lake Bunyonyi, to proceed to meet the Mountain Gorillas!            The adventure will take you south, over the equator where you will have a brief stop-over for an image and a snack. You will stop for lunch after around 4 hours close to the town of Mbarara.

The journey will take around 7 to 8 hours.

Day 3

Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the briefing point whereby you will be briefed by the park rangers, the drive is around one hour from Amasiko.

After the briefing, the time has come to begin your quest for the Mountain Gorillas! The span of the tracking is difficult to tell. It relies upon the weather, how far are the Gorilla’s, the physical state of the member’s activities and so on. By and large, the track takes around 2 to 4 hours.

Day 4

Today you will make a beeline for Queen Elizabeth National Park. it will be a 4 to 5-hour drive winding through the mountains towards the fields of Queen Elizabeth National Park. On your way there will be a game drive through the southern piece of Queen Elizabeth: Ishasha. This piece of the park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions.

Day 5

Game drive and the boat ride on Kazinga Channel

The day will begin with an early game drive to attempt to discover the creatures of the night. Day 7

Relax or go for a stroll in the Mountains

Day 11

Game drive, boat ride, and hike to the top of the falls

Travel to Kidepo

Day 13

Game drive in Kidepo Valley

Day 14

Entire day climb to meet the IK individuals on top of mount Morungole

The IK individuals are identified with the first clans living in Kidepo Valley NP. After they left the park they went to live on top of the Morungole mountains. A climb to the top isn’t just an outstanding background it also makes you feel what it resembles to live in such a remote area! From Kidepo Valleyit is around 2,5 hours drive to the beginning stage. Day 15

Transfer to Moroto through Nakapelemoru – cultural town

Day 16

Climb to the falls and Coffee tour

Day 19

Relaxing on the Nile

Today is a day to relax, you can simply sit at the poolside or go horseback riding or take a turn on the shores of the Nile on a Quad bicycle. In the event that you are an adrenaline junkie you can settle on a half – or entire day rafting! You can talk about with your guide what you like to do. Toward the day’s end, you can go for a sundowner at the source of the Nile!

To Kampala
