Day 1: Kampala to Queen Elizabeth national park to start a 6 Days Queen | Murchison | Kampala Tour

After early morning breakfast, we drive to Queen Elizabeth national park, probably the biggest park and home to a few types of mammals. Land in time for an evening game drive in Ishasha. You’ll go through the Ishasha division of the National Park, seeing the game and viewing the local wildlife go about day by day existence. The park’s most popular region is the Ishasha area, which has a noteworthy cluster of wildlife including tree-climbing lions which are found in the low-lying parts of the local fig trees. You also see Elephants, Buffaloes, hyenas, stripped jackals, Hippopotamus, Kobs, Warthog and an assortment of primates like Chimpanzee, olive mandrill, red-followed and vervet monkeys in the forests.

Day 2: Kasenyi and Kazinga

After breakfast, drive towards Kasenyi and visit the cavity lakes, Edwards and George which has been prevalently set apart as the mating ground for a few antelopes, especially for the Uganda kob. Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park

At 6:00, our driver will pick you from your hotel in Masindi, proceed to the Murchison Falls National Park. Our guide will brief you on the 1 Day safari to Murchison Falls National Park before you set off. At 2.00 pm we go for Launch Cruise on Victoria Nile. This is the biggest highlight of any Murchison Falls Safari. Such beautiful wildlife sightings relaxing ride of about 3 hours. We find there a lot of water animals like the hippos and Nile crocodiles. At this point, we sightsee buffalos, elephants, antelopes and a cocktail of birds such as kingfisher, herons, and fish eagles, viewing crocodiles, the many hippos along the bank and in the river, the birds, monkeys, buffaloes, elephants and so much more and of course the bottom of the falls. Birds on the boat include the Goliath Herons, Occasional Shoe Billed Stork, Great White Egret, African Skimmer, Red-throated bee-eater and Pied King Fisher. Stop at a landing rock at a vantage point from which you will take pictures of the Murchison Falls. It is one of the best wildlife experiences in Uganda.

Lastly, we go to the top of the falls that make Murchison Falls National Park so famous. This is a place for most memorable pictures and a taking in of the sounds and sights, including the rainbow that does not disappear – created by the mist of the falls. It is such a great sight as watching predators such as lions make moves on their prey, it’s an amazing experience since most antelopes are hunted down and killed without notice. Incredible picture moments here as we continue the drive seeing the beautiful grassy landscape to the start of the hike to the top of the Murchison Falls. You’re treated to the breathtaking sight of the falls at the top. About 300 – 400 cubic meters per second of Nile waters force through a tiny gorge of about 6 meters to plunge into a violent tempest about 42.5 meters below.

Day 5 Transfer to Kampala City Via Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. 

After early morning breakfast, start the journey back to Kampala. In transit, make a stopover at Zziwa Rhino sanctuary for your first Big 5 experience where you will have an hour of rhino tracking.

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Trek is located in Nakasongola district is the proud home of the only wild rhinos in Uganda. The Rhino re-introduction project is a project of Rhino Fund Uganda and Uganda Wildlife Authority. During the one-day Rhino tracking tour which is done on foot just like nature walk, we track the remaining Rhinos presently the sanctuary is home to twenty-two (22) southern white rhinos. The sanctuary has become increasingly popular with tourists; for Rhino Trekking, Shoebill Trek and Canoe Ride, Bird Watching, Night Walk, Nature Walk, and Relaxation.

End of our  Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Trek and proceed to Kampala City.

After early morning breakfast, we start the Kampala City tour. Kampala city is also known as the city of seven hills. The capital city of Uganda, the focus of business life and the seat of government including the Parliament and authentic landmarks.
